What is a declaration?
A declaration is scripture made personal through your own story. Sometimes it's a verse you've known your entire life. Sometimes it's one you found exactly when you needed it.
It becomes the words you return to in uncertainty. The reminder you hold onto through change. The truth that grounds you, challenges you, gives you hope, or reminds you that God is near. Those words become more than something we read. They become part of what we carry.
Declarations is a place for those words and the stories behind them to become part of something bigger.

Your declaration could become something more.
Declarations is an ongoing creative project from Second Kings Society built around the scripture and stories that matter to the people within our community.
You share a verse and what it means to you. We explore how that declaration could be interpreted through art and design.
It might become apparel. An accessory. An illustration. A piece of artwork. A typographic concept. Or something entirely unexpected.

How it works
01 | share
Submit a verse that has become meaningful to you and tell us the story behind it.
It doesn't need to be perfectly written. We want to understand why these words matter to you.
02 | Create
Selected submissions become the starting point for creative exploration.
We look beyond the words themselves and explore the imagery, typography, materials, symbols, and ideas that could express their meaning.
03 | Drop
The selected concept will become part of a future limited Declarations Drop through apparel, accessories, artwork, or another creative medium.
04 | Carry
What began as one person's declaration can become a reminder someone else carries, a conversation they start, or a truth they discover for themselves.
