A declaration is something you choose to believe, carry, and stand in.For Second Kings, clothing becomes a way to carry those reminders with you, whether it's a message of faith, identity, hope, courage, or God's presence.Our story began with one declaration, but the purpose of Second Kings Society is for you to make it your own.

The name comes from 2 Kings 6:15–17, the passage at the heart of Second Kings Society.When Elisha's servant becomes afraid after seeing that they are surrounded by an enemy army, Elisha tells him not to fear. God opens the servant's eyes, revealing the heavenly army that had been surrounding and protecting them all along.That message, that there is more surrounding us than what we can see, became deeply connected to the founding story of Second Kings Society.You can read the full story on our Our Story page.

The Society is the community behind Second Kings Society.It's a place for people to share the Scriptures, declarations, experiences, and stories that have carried them through different seasons of life, and potentially help inspire what Second Kings creates next.It's also where we look to connect with artists, musicians, churches, nonprofits, businesses, and other organizations interested in creating something meaningful together.

Declarations Drop gives you the opportunity to help inspire future Second Kings designs.You can submit a Bible verse that has carried meaning in your life along with the story or declaration behind it. Selected submissions may help inspire future pieces and collections.Because Second Kings began with a Scripture that became deeply personal to our founder's own story, Declarations Drop creates space for the Society to share theirs.
